News Updates for March 2025
A round-up of breaking news and the most interesting stories from the world of astrology and esotericism.
TikTok content creator, Tarot Noir uploaded a clip around her 2025 predictions, shortly before the January American Airlines plane crash, according to comments on the post, 12 to 13 hours before the crash. She coincidently predicted two “Aviation” related events in her video, which might shock everyone. However, she did not predict the Washington DC disaster that saw a Black Hawk helicopter colliding with an American Airlines plane on January 29, 2025.
The TikToker did make reference to supposed mishaps that would involve a commercial airline plane and a small plane, a military aircraft. She predicted the crash would happen in February. Furthermore, Tarot Noir described both incidents as separate events, initially claiming that one will be an “Inside job”, while the other will have a popular couple as its victims.
So as of now, Tarot Noir's predictions, while are close to the actual occurrence, are not quite accurate.
Tarot Noir on TikTok predicted 2 plane crashes. A commercial plane crash and a small plane crash. She posted her video hours before the commercial plane crash.

Saraç, who claims to be the "Best medical astrologer" in the country, shared a post suggesting that Bahçeli had serious lung problems and breathing difficulties. Saraç had reposted her earlier “prediction” from Dec. 27, 2024, suggesting that Bahçeli might “Fall seriously ill.” Additionally, she speculated that early elections would take place and that one of the political leaders would pass away before the elections. The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office launched an investigation based on the accusations, and Saraç was taken into custody. She was later arrested on the orders of a local court.

The New York Times covers a new exhibition at the Warburg Institute in London titled, “Tarot: Origins and Afterlives”, which traces the evolution of tarot from Renaissance Italy to the present day, with the card designs shifting to reflect the times. It looks at what the curators call, “Critical moments” in tarot’s history, to show how a recreational card game of the elite in Renaissance Italy transformed into an esoteric tool for divination and, eventually, a mainstay of alternative spirituality.
The exhibit starts from 1909, when Aby Warburg, the German art historian for whom the institute is named, began collecting tarot decks and books on the history of magic. Visitors will also be able to view the elaborate, gold-leafed miniatures by the Italian artist Bonifacio Bembo from the mid-15th century, which are among the earliest known tarot cards. These cards are probably too valuable to play with, they were more likely used as tools of reflection.
Angie Banicki is a musical Tarot card reader with an impressive list of celebrity clients, like Billie Eilish, Sophia Bush and Nikki Reed. Banicki reads tarot cards, and the musical element of her process reflects the melodies she often hears when she’s speaking with her clients.
The Tarot reader performed a reading for journalist Kells McPhillips. According to McPhillips, "Within five minutes of the session, Banicki—who offers virtual sessions—decides that I’m completely in love based on the songs that pop into her head while she reads my cards."

In the opinion of one astrologer, "Some people turn to astrology to cope with stress, to feel a sense of control and certainty and to feel more in tune with their own identities."
